Scholarship Student, Alba Mejia

Each afternoon, Alba heads down the hill to take Computer Classes at the local computer academy … a course that enriches her academic classes at an Academy in Santa Elena. Alba is another of the Ix-canaan Scholarship Students. She is now in grade 9, and is very excited to graduate this year from Basicos … a dream she had long ago given up when she was forced to leave school at the end of grade 6.

Alba’s excellent marks on recent exams will testify to her dedication to her future.
