Thanks to a donation by Tom Grote of Ohio, the Women’s Group was able to buy their dance costumes in time to perform at Gringo Perdido the other night for a large group that included the son of the President of Guatemala, and his family. The group of women have been preparing to dance the Punta and the Meringue for Activation Maya 2005.
