Volunteers: Laura Lagendyk & Peter Basnak

This past week, volunteers Laura Lagendyk and Peter Basnak from Calgary, Alberta, brought a huge load of supplies and stayed to volunteer for two days.

Peter volunteered his skills as a Soccer Coach.  Before leaving Calgary, he received a donation of lots of soccer and basketballs from the Norwest United Soccer Association from Silver Springs Community Association (Calgary, Alberta) and he also collected a variety of different sizes of soccer shoes and other necessary equipment for the kids that he would be working with.

As well as materials for Margo’s needlework classes and game pieces for the game she brought to teach.
