Volunteer: Montserrat Castellano

Our newest volunteer, Monserrat Castellano, is an artist from Spain (Montserratcastellano.blogspot.com).  Monse heard about Project Ix-canaan from someone in her hotel, and decided she would like to get to know the people of our friendly little village better by sharing her talents with the village children. 

Monse spent her first volunteering day getting to know the kids through a variety of creative play.

Alex kept a group of older boys entertained with their favorite card game ….

And there are always a few more restless members of the group who can work off their excess energy on the Jungle Gymn :-).
