Unificacion Maya 2010: Yaxha Archeological Site
Yaxha, which translates to “Blue Green Waters”, sits between two beautiful lakes. The climb up many of its Temples yields beautiful views of both the lakes and the River Azul that feeds them.
Here you see the Unificacion Group as they begin to file into the main plaza where the Fire Ceremony has already been set up.
The group continues to file in and create the circle for the ceremony.

After the ceremony, the group moved down to the lakeshore for a late lunch.
The sunset was magical.

After the late lunch, many of the Unificacion participants went to experience the thrill of the zip lines through the jungle canopy at Ruta del Mono Canopy Tour before the drive back to the hotels.
