N.U.F.E.D Grad 2010
It was my great honour this year to have been chosen as the Madrina for the N.U.F.E.D. graduating class. Part of my role was to lead the class to the stage for the ceremonies.
Byron Gonzalez, owner of the Bregond Computer Academy, which works closely with the school, was the m.c. for the evening.
Desby gave a speech as representative of the graduating students.
Byron Perez, School Director, spoke about his pride in the accomplishments of the students.
Amintor Gonzalez, President of the Parent-Teacher Association, presented me with a beautiful Certificate of Appreciation for the work that Project Ix-canaan does with the school and the community.
I gave a speech about “Community”. The N.U.F.E.D. School itself has been an excellent model for “community”, as they have actively involved teachers, students, parents and past alumni in their programs throughout the year.
The teachers take turns presenting the students with their diplomas. Teacher Henri is presenting the diploma for Doris.
The entire group of teachers and students pose together for a final photo before the dance begins.
