Music Sessions at the Library
In a recent afternoon class in the library, Margo taught the children how to make rattles, using balloons as moulds with paper mache over them.
They leave their rattles in the library, and each afternoon, Margo leads them in a few minutes of rhythm and music.
Margo also brought this interesting string instrument, with a huge pile of musical instructions that will enable any budding musician to be able to play tunes immediately.
The flutes are also a big hit …
Especially the flutes that the children were able to make from bamboo, once again under Margo’s tutelage.
Even M.R. became part of the day’s joyful activity as she played a tune with Darlin.
