Lisa Thompson Teaches English Classes

Lisa Thompson, from western Canada via a year in Mexico, is one of our newest volunteers.  Lisa is a qualified English teacher and she has quickly organized a morning and afternoon English class.

Learning English is a priority for the villagers, both young and old.  Through tourism, they hope to be able to build a new financial base for the area that rewards the growing of trees instead of the cutting down of trees, thus saving and renewing the rainforest.

Lisa’s classes are energetic, creative and fun and the students are enjoying learning.   Sty tuned for more updates as her classes develop.
