Cement Floor Building: Team 4

This is the small house in the neighbouring community of Ixlu where Team 4 built a cement floor.

The team were able to cement most of the front half of the one-room house.

The students work with the home owner to mix up the cement mixture.

There is a lot of manual labor involved in building a cement floor in the tropics.

Water is added at appropriate intervals to perfect the mixture.

The students pose for a final photo with Luis, the albañil that worked with them for the day.
