Library: Painting Planters
The final project that Lisa and Sylvie decided to do was to use up some of the huge pile of plastic bottles piled up by the Women’s Center (left over from the Plastic Ceiba Project) to paint small planters that could be hung on the fence of either the Library or the Women”s Center.
For this project, they worked with the kids at the library.
They used acrylic paints and all sorts of various stick-ons.
And then they got to choose where to hang them.
Each planter was seeded with a variety of flower or vegetable seeds.
And this one, by the main gate, began to sprout almost immediately.
